Ecole Connaught Community School

The community addresses the plan

A good crowd was on hand

There was a good turnout in the Resource Room at Ecole Connaught Community School to hear the Regina Board of Education present its plan for school renewal. Approximately 60 - 70 concerned parents and community members showed up to hear the Board presentation and to provide vital feedback.

Bruce Baldwin was on hand as the Board's representative, and Mike Walter also from the Board Office was there to facilitate and gather comments.

It was very encouraging to hear the extremely thoughtful questions put forward by parents and community members regarding the proposed plan, and near the end of the meeting Bruce Baldwin and Mike Walter both thanked the crowd present for their considered input. The room was full of people who had not only read the plan, but had given it some thought and were there to make sure that what they see as potential shortcomings are brought to the attention of the Board.
